Curated AI news for people who build.
Signal - AI News Aggregator is a curated daily briefing of the AI news that actually matters to people who build things. We skip the hype, the listicles, and the thread-reposts. What's left are model releases, research papers, developer tools, and the business moves that change how the industry runs.
Every morning a cron job pulls the last 36 hours of AI-related content from more than 30 sources - RSS feeds, ArXiv, Hacker News, YouTube channels, subreddits, ProductHunt, and GitHub. A blocklist drops junk domains and obvious hype-bait. The survivors are scored by Gemini for novelty, credibility, actionability, technical depth, and hype. Low-signal items are filtered out. What remains is clustered into stories, ranked, and served as the daily briefing.
Most readers are practitioners - developers, researchers, product people who ship AI features. A smaller share are curious readers who want to keep up without drowning in Twitter threads. The writing aims for both: specific enough to be useful, plain enough to be readable without a PhD.
Everything runs on a single self-hosted server. No cookies, no tracking pixels, no third-party advertising. Page-view counts go to a self-hosted analytics instance. That's it.
